T'ai Chi Chih -- Joy Thru Movement®

T’ai Chi Chih was created in 1974 by Justin Stone, a T’ai Chi Ch’uan Master. He became aware that there were many people for whom T’ai Chi Ch’uan was not workable. His deep desire for everyone to be able to reap the benefits resulted in the creation of the 20 movements of T’ai Chi Chih which can be done by anyone regardless of age or physical condition.  The weight shift and circular movements of T’ai Chi Chih promote health, harmony and wholeness in our bodies and our lives by circulating and balancing the Chi (life energy).

This gentle practice is both a moving meditation and a powerful experience as it reintegrates body, mind and spirit. Many find it to be excellent preparation for work, study, prayer, meditation, sports, yoga, and more.
