"Mandala", the ancient Sanskrit word for circle, is a timeless symbol for Life --- the Universe --- Wholeness --- Oneness. This circular symbol is considered sacred in many traditions and cultures spanning the ages and the globe. Whenever we work with the circle, we invite balance and harmony into our life. Nowadays, fear, stress and exhaustion can take a toll on body, mind, spirit, and our daily lives. Mandalas, like mirrors, reflect back to us light from within which rises from a place of wholeness and deep knowing. Creating and viewing our sacred circles opens a door for healing and transformation, both personally and globally. Through a powerful process of guided imagery, meditation and a simple technique that is easily learned, mandalas of radiant light emerge from the darkness.
Working with Judith Cornell’s Mandala Process bridges the gaps between Eastern philosophies and Western science & thought as well as between ancient and modern beliefs and practices. Dr. Cornell’s unique way of working with mandalas as a sacred art process can aid us in eliminating our sense of separation, limitation, fear and negativity, while increasing creativity and insight through an open heart. As we work with this process, we increase our energy levels --- directing us once again toward interconnectedness, wholeness, and the sacredness of all life.
No art experience required, only a willingness to explore and work with a Higher Guidance which opens the Heart Center to light, joy and wholeness. Einstein has said, “We shall need a substantially new way of thinking if mankind is to survive.” The Mandala may be survival’s guide to a new perspective.
